Taraweeh is a special voluntary prayer performed by Muslims during the nights of Ramadan after the obligatory Isha (night) prayer. It consists of multiple units of prayer offered in congregation or individually, during which long portions of the Qur’an are recited, with the goal of completing its recitation over the month. Taraweeh is considered a highly recommended act of worship that emphasizes reflection, spiritual renewal, and increased devotion during Ramadan.
