🌿 Sunnah Practices & Eid Day Etiquette
To fully embrace the spirit of Eid ul-Adha, we encourage everyone to revive the beautiful Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ by:
- Performing ghusl before the prayer
- Wearing your best modest attire
- Delaying food until after the Eid prayer and sacrifice
- Reciting the Takbeer from the morning of the 9th to the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah (i.e. from June 5 to June 9 of this calendar year)
- Walking to the prayer if possible, and taking a different route home
- Remaining for the khutbah after the prayer
- Spreading joy and brotherhood with warm greetings like “Eid Mubarak”
